Our History
St. Antony's Matriculation Higher Secondary School was founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1988. It started in a small rented house at Ganeshapuram with 35 students. The Sisters were invited by the Parish Priest of Kattur, Rev. Fr. Anthonimuthu, to establish a school. The pioneer Sisters were Sr. Regina Mudiappan, Sr. Numbikai Mary, and Sr. Perpetua Mary, the first Headmistress.
The school was upgraded in 2000 and has consistently achieved 100% results. Our students have also won many prizes at the district and state levels in sports. Over the years, we have grown in size and stature, adding new facilities, expanding our academic offerings, and welcoming students from diverse backgrounds. Yet, our core values have remained unchanged: faith in every child's potential, commitment to excellence, and a deep sense of service to society.
